No perfection this year.
For the Men of Steel they will drop one on their own from exhaustion or bench / rest players before the playoffs.
For the Jets I see them putting together one game to say Fuck The Patriots and make them look like shit.
A pride thing at that point.

"Lets get this win for our fans and risk the #1 pick Trevor Lawrence" - Adam "shitface" Gase

Yeah I don't see that happening but it could be a close game. I don't think Gase has the balls or the gameplan to win that game.

After this last performance... I have serious reservations about whether the Steelers can even beat the Redskins.

they are 6th in scoring who knew that was bad? :suds:

Defense.

You give them an average defense and they aren't top 14 in points. They are in the bottom 10 in the league in yards per game.

Terrible at running the football. One of only a handful of teams in the league that doesn't top 4 ypc. 3.8 ypc in today's era of football is embarrassing.

Of course they have Ben and the young WR's. But even they aren't world beaters. Ben has COMPLETELY revamped how he plays. All he cares about it would seem is getting rid of the ball quickly. Hardly ever pushes the ball down the field. And his YPA has plummeted because of it. 6.5 YPA. Again bottom part of the league. (Big Ben transforming his game from when he was young and could never get rid of the ball on time to now where he never holds the football is one of the most interesting subjects I can think of in an aging NFL player).

Add it all up and this isn't an offense that can sustain long drives or put up a lot of explosive plays.

They obviously are in the dance and capable of going on a hot streak like any team that makes the playoffs could. But I don't think anyone right now is looking at them and thinking they have a better shot of doing it than most other teams despite them being the only "perfect" team.

Dupree definitely hurts a lot but they will be fine against Washington
Hurts the pass rush but I think they’ll be fine setting the edge with Highsmith & Adeniyi. Tuitt makes everyone’s life easier on that edge. And make no mistake, Dupree benefitted a lot from Tuitt’s presence.

It does not matter the Jets will screw up the pick and Pittsburg will get beat by KC.

I don't.

Steelers are undefeated. And they still aren't a top 5 team in the league IMO. Especially now that their front 7 was hit with the major injuries.

Their offense is bad. Not average. Bad. Their defense is really good. But it would have to be great not really good to beat some of the better teams in this league come playoff time.

So who in the AFC is the best challenge?

Who would have thought the Jets broke their perfect record before the Steelers...

Edit... Nevermind. Derek Carr throws a hail mary TD.

WAS 23, PIT 17. If you voted NO you were correct.

Steelers are going to lose at least one of those games.

But I can see the Jets coming into New England at 0-15 trying to get a victory there.
But I didn't see one of those losses being to the ex-Skins.

Both streaks should've ended this week. Stupid Jets.

The way to beat KC is by running the football, controlling the clock, pressuring Mahomes with the front 4 and playing coverage to avoid the big play.

Not an easy task, but the AFC teams best equipped to do that are actually Baltimore, Cleveland and Tennessee. And probably in that order.

Pittsburg would be next in line, IMO, but I just don’t think they match up very well with Kansas City.

Obviously Baltimore would have to start playing a lot better.
