Will Minnesota be the first to come back from 0-3?

Odds obviously against...but I wonder how many of the previous 0-154 times, the higher seed was the team down 3-0?

Meaning, the lower seed somehow beats the higher game 1 and 2, that has to be quite rare by itself, then they win game 3 too...

For Minnesota, they have 2 of the next 3 at home, I would think most teams down 1-3 have to go on the road for games 5 and 7 but the Wolves get home court as the higher seed.

Minne probably doesn't do it, but the chance is there, that streak will end one of these days

Would love to see them pull it off. It’d really put a stamp on this season and for the franchise in general.

But unless Lively doesn’t come back, I just don’t see three more in a row.

I think I saw a stat where only 5 higher seeds have been down 0-3.

That seems really low.

But I believe that’s the stat I saw on sportscenter

How many times have we seen a 3 to 0 lead end up in game 6 and 7s ? But to win it don’t think so.

Regardless the atmosphere tonite should be fantastic. What does Minny have to lose ?

Exactly, whatever that number is it's gonna be low...so a better shot for Minnesota than most. Still unlikely but not impossible unlikely

Even if we ignore the evidence of the series and go with Wolves are a more talented team, to believe that Doncic won't in any of the next 3 games just take over and end it is wishful thinking IMO.

I will continue to hope that Wolves make history in this series.

I certainly hope so. We've had a 16 beat a one in the NCAA, it is time to end this no one has come back from 0-3 stuff.

Oh, and I don't like Dallas.

But, it is still unlikely.

It's going to happen eventually...but I think it's more likely to be a scenario where a veteran maybe had to start a series without 1 or 2 of it's best players, then gets them back or the team that's up 3-0 loses 1 or 2 of their best players.

So I don't see the Wolves as that type of vet team...so unless Luka and or Kyrie gets hurt, I can't see the Wolves pulling it off.

That's why the 0-154 number is so shocking. You would think at least a couple of these 0-3 teams would have the good fortune of having one or two of the other teams best player get hurt and be able to reel off a 4 game winning streak.

Its not like winning 4 in a row is all that hard as evidenced by the fact that there have been 97 sweeps in NBA playoff history (27% of all series end in a sweep).

So we are LONG overdue.

But I have a feeling we will have to wait awhile longer. This Wolves teams doesnt feel like THAT team. But of course Luka getting hurt at the start of game 5 could easily change that.

As I've said, I also don't think it happens here. My point is just that it's very rare for the higher seed to be the one down 0-3, then 1-3, where 2 of the next 3 are at home. That will help a bit. And speaking of hurt Luka, he's clearly not at 100%, so another bit of help.

Still not happening but it's not like Boston going up 3-0 on Indiana, there was never any shot for the Pacers.

Yup to your point

Have to believe it’s also not common that the team down 0-3 was only 1.5 pt dogs on road in game 4 and 5.5 pt favs at home in game 5.

It ain’t happening cause the margin for error is simply too little when a team has KAT and Rudy on it.

But the lines themselves, don’t make winning 4 in a row all that improbable.

Pull it out tonight and it at least gets interesting....puts most of the pressure on Dallas for game 6.

Not only that…

Momentum is hard to overcome.

Say you drop game 4 at home if you are Dallas.

Then you go back to Minnesota for game 5. Minnesota gets that.

All the pressure in the world would be on Dallas to close out in game 6. Fail to get it done there, and Minny is back in the driver seat after having won 3 in a row.

It is a lot I know, but why I think 0-154 is crazy.

was gonna throw a few bucks on the TWolves but odds are not even that great right now. Only +425 to win the series.
