No they do not...In my opinion, they need to win 7 out of their last 8 games to guarantee a spot with 98 points. 96 points could leave them on the outside looking in due to the shootout wins tiebreaker.

well...the Kings can afford a couple of losses down this stretch, and I would rather have them lose to you then fucking Anaheim, San Jose, Dallas and Phoenix.

No damnitt the Kings need to win in REGULATION. I don't care who the Ducks play in the 1st round as long as they make it. Besides So Cal needs both teams in the playoffs so they actually talk about hockey for once.

fucking LA Times hardly spoke a lick about the Kings impressive 4-0 road trip, but speak highly of the ducks. I think that guy who writes for them is a Duck lover.

Win a Cup & they will take you seriously, until then forget it. It's got to be a tough pill to swallow for the Kings & their fans. The Kings brought Gretzky to LA to sell the game. The league puts a team in Orange County & they win the Cup before they do.

There wasn't a team in O.C. when I was a kid & most of my family are Flyers fans. So I decided to piss them off & became an Isles fan. This was long before Gretzky. We're talking triple crown line. Those four years were AWESOME!! Of course I'm paying for them now big time. At least the Flyers haven't won the cup, YET! If & when they do I'll never hear the end of it.

It is amazing how much the shootout wins tiebreaker affects the odds. it looks like LA has a really good chance of getting in with 96 points.
