This is a naive post to say the least.
The Pittsburgh Steelers are an equally well run organization. They are "out of contention" (or at least will be very soon).
Very true. Even evil empires crumble sometime.

Has anyone been paying attention?
everytime the pats lose a player or have an inujury everyone says they are done.... only to have Beli make them eat those words...
I won't fall for it again.
They WERE a well-run organization. I'm not so sure they still are.
The Patriots Are a well-run organization and will probably remain so
unless their owner croaks unexpectedly.
Just to be clear...the Patriots haven't won a Super Bowl in almost a decade. Let's back off a little on the Patriot worship.
Patriots are never done. With all the injuries they had/have, they will still find ways to win games. The only they take a step down is if brady gets injured.
Well just last season, they were done at around 10pm est on January 20th.

The Pats have played a bunch of cupcakes so far (with the exception of the 1-3 falcons). The combined record of the teams they have beat is 5-13. They make the playoffs every year because of T.B, BB, and being in a weak division. When you combine that with their weak schedule this year, they will make the playoffs again.
But lets be real, is making the playoffs enough for this organization? I think not. Do they really have the talent to make a superbowl run? I think not.
Again, they will win plenty of games, but they need less injuries/suspensions and more talent around T.B to be a legit contender.
Regardless...... It has been considered one of the weaker divisions in football the past few years with the exception of the Pats. I don't think many people consider the AFC East a powerhouse division.Saying the AFC East is a weak division has no validity. There are only a total of 6 losses combined and 3 of those are head to head inside the division. Total of 3 losses outside the division. Note also that one of Buffalo's losses is their 5th game, without that loss it would only be 5 losses for AFC east.
The only division with fewer losses is the AFC West with 5 losses - only 1 in division. Total of 4 losses outside the division.
I swear the Pats are doing this with smoke and mirrors, but you got to hand it to them so far they have held on.........I just can't believe that will continue thru the season. Lets see how they do this Sunday
A Ravens fan talking shit? You are still the champions - until the Superbowl. You should act like it because the Ravens will be watching it from home. Ravens will be insignificant.
