Ty Law was the worst. He came out and called Kraft and Belichick liars. He called us the other day looking for a newer Taurus or comp car for his father. Said they had a strange relation and didnt want to spend $$$

Yes, but he wanted to resign for a day so he could retire a Patriot...Go figure.

I honestly think Ty law got over it. He may have been upset he couldn't get the deal he wanted here, but when he was out of the heat of that, he's been fairly complimentary, has called Bill the best in the NFL, and I think overall in hindsight he's happy with his experience here. Anything remotely recent supports that.

No I agree and like mentioned above, he wanted to resign as a Pat. He was a young cocky and immature punk , and the only Pat I didnt like dealing with. He has done a 360, good guy around town, does stuff for community. It used to be fun when the Pats used to practice around corner from work at Bryant College and come in and hang around

I think you meant 180, but we get the gist. :suds: I love having Vince here, and wish he would stay, but I have no problem with him looking out for himself and looking at what the market will bear.

I heard some pats fans say that he was fat and injury prone best to let him go. Some are now saying that he's the key to their D. Well what is it as it can't be both???

He was the key to our D.

The concern was that it is a lot to commit to a guy with an Achilles injury at his age, but his deal is participation based, so the risk is properly avoided. Healthy he's elite.

So this is the time of year when Canadian Dolphin fans talk shit?
Are you like one of those Canada Geese that gets fat and won't fly home?

Why? I asked a legitimate question? Your partner at least made a legitimate answer not sure what you were trying to prove? I've been watching NFL football for 35 years are you implying that Canadians either shouldn't be watching or don't know what they're talking about?

I'm actually a pretty lucky guy I work in the resort industry so yes I travel quite often I'm probably about 10 lbs too heavy during the winter season but who cares that I can afford to eat well...obviously wilfork eats ten times what I do that's why the pats were hesitant to resign him. I just find it funny that he was shown the door by many but suddenly it's a great contract.

It's really pretty simple. We all want Wilfork to play. Most of us were worried about what we would have to pay.
His contract is mostly performance based so it is a win-win.
You like to dis the Pats and their fans. The comment that you are "actually a pretty lucky guy" is the first sign of something besides arrogance and hatred by you. Keep it up!
I've got nothing against the fins or canadians. Haters, on the other hand.....

Wow sounds like you have some self confidence issues. If you read my question it questioned why pats fans wanted him out but when the contract was signed it was the best thing since sliced bread. A very legitimate question especially when the same thing happened with edelman.... Either way I never directly took a shot at any pats fan they do a good enough job on their own.

Nobody wanted to see Edelman or Wilfork go. Pats fans want them playing for us. Taking any statement out of context and ignoring cost vs. benefit illegitimizes your question.

The issue was risk. This contract has no risk.
