Pocket presence. Arm strength. Lot of the same complaints people have about Jimmy G, actually. Slightly worse maybe even.

Basically what I am saying is this isn't all that different from the early Jimmy G arguments where people unironically thought he was good. Maybe that's the best team in the NFC, but because of Purdy? Hard no for me.

Just the opposite. They are the best team in the NFC because of everything other than Purdy. Purdy's play has simply contributed to the dominance. They have been blowing teams out.

Honestly, I was questioning Purdy coming into his first playoff game and he was nails. He didn't get rattled when down, made plays when he had to, and protected the ball. Too early to say, but if the last 7 games are what he is going to be in the future, scary!
