I like the 1 game format. It's like a Game 7. That said, I need some whiskey.

Playing 162, sometimes 163 games just to play in an elimination game from the get-go is lame in my opinion. I agree with the long paragraph posted by the scorpion guy earlier.

I've been saying this for the last few years.
Football has the one & done format...which is fine for that particular sport...but baseball is a game predicated on playing a series.
A best of 3 should be the way to go for the MLB WC round.

The WC team with the better regular season record would still host all 3 games if necessary, and tie breakers would come into play if needed. WC series winner still gets to play the League's best overall team record wise.
