I've seen many of calls this year that would say Bernard was defenseless as well. He caught the ball and got drilled right as he turned around to make himself a runner. I wouldn't say he had a chance to defend himself from that hit.

The officials should not have thrown the flag on Jones either. They have to realize the situation and not throw that one. They had let them go all game without throwing those, and they suddenly decide that was the right time to do so? No... They can't let their emotions suddenly decide the outcome of a game like that. They should have been flags like that way earlier in the game though.

he wasnt going after him....if anything it looked like he was reaching out to him in support as he was walking off and got caught up with the coach. thats when he HAD to keep it real.....
