******** used to be that guy to on the powerplay before he became a giant pussy. Seriously, I know he's not a good skater to begin with but his skating and passing in recent months has been down right putrid. Just a random thought but how different do you think things would be if Lappy were able to play?

“Yeah we didn’t play good the whole game, not just the third period,” said defenseman Andrej Meszaros. “The first two they outskated us, outbattled us, they outshot us. They did everything better than us in our building, so that was embarrassing. We talked about after the second [period] to come out hard, and we just couldn’t get it going. Luckily we had Bob [Sergei Bobrovsky]. He kept us in the game. He was unbelievable, but we can’t have those kind of games close to the playoffs.”

Andrej is spot on with this quote. I agree with everything he says and he doesn't hold back, he's simply telling it like it is, just as I did on the main board last night.

You can't let a huge rival that is right behind you in the standings stroll on into your own building and thoroughly dominate you for an entire game. The point that we did get was out of sheer luck. It should have been a 3-1 or 4-1 Pittsburgh win. It's simply embarrassing.

While it is nice to have points in eight straight games, we're on the "losing" end of too many of those games. You can't just win half of your games down the stretch (only one of them by more than a goal) and expect to win your division and keep the top seed. It's just not going to happen. At this rate, the Pens will beat us in the next game in regulation and overtake us by one or two points by seasons end, which would make our winning tiebreaker worthless.

not saying cure, but he'd at least add in another skill guy who could get the puck with some room and get excited enough to play for 15 seconds

i just dont see why the other guys get a pass when Z doesn't.. his past few games he's been much better than richards, steeg, hartnell, or JvR have been in their last few.. especially JvR, has anyone even heard his name in the past month (aside from his assist on a goal that was the luckiest the flyers have had all season)?

someone obviously reads here. :clap2:
