Why would the Warriors send a contingent to watch LaVine, Gordon?

A large contingent at that - including Jerry West. Could they possible be making a play for a top-10 pick, or are they simply just trying to network with potential (future) FAs?

Naturally I'm excited about this just because of how big of a Gordon fan I am, but again we don't have anything to play with in this draft.

They're trading Avi for a top pick!! They also have looked at shabazz Napier. Would be a nice backup to steph. He lives for the big moment
