No. Alabama and LSU have been ranked #1, not the entire conference. The SEC doesn't get to share a piece of the Sears Trophy.

an SEC team has.. not just those two.. and typically 3 of the top 5 are SEC teams..

Yeaaa.... Based on having had to play that #1 team.... I'd take Wisconsin's odds the last two years over anybody but...

Alabama 2011.

Auburn in 2010; but I think we could have given them or Oregon a game..as could TCU.

LSU last year; but I think we could have given them a game based on their shitty offense.

Everybody else can kiss my ass or meet the Badgers on the field.

Listen guys travel matters, weather and climate matter. I have stated before and its 100% accurate that the major college programs recruit guys to help them win conference titles first and foremost. The guys the B10 recruits arent necessarily the same guys the P12 recruits which arent the same the BE recruits etc. Speed is important in all leagues but more so in leagues where weather and climate arent as big of a factor. This allows SEC teams to recruit more depth of speed than a B10/BE/hell even some B12 schools can recruit. I posted this a few months ago but here goes again. In a strict B10/SEC comparison the B10 is 9-2 in bowl games in the BCS era whent he game was played in rain or with a temp below 60 degrees ( including 5-1 vs the SEC), SEC schools are 2-12 in these same conditions. That doesnt even factor in travel which I havent done any research on because its too extensive for me to care to do but I am sure that the results would be similar. It doesnt matter if you have a week to prepare. When you are 900 miles from home playing an opponent 60 miles from home and you are playing in conditions strictly recruited to by southern schools then yes it makes a difference.

Its like this... look we barely went over .500 last year and played on of the B1G top tier teams and beat them .. you have to admit.. PSU,OSU,Mich, and Wisky are the "top tier".. but OSU didnt fair so well against a suck ass Florida team..

Ohio State was mediocre last year. Yea, they beat us at their house, because we pretty much spotted them 14 points with brain dead plays.

And you have to admit. That game was played pretty close to your house. Face it. One game doesn't tell you shit about SEC dominance. Get over yourselves. Look at the post season record as a whole over the years. Your middle of the road doesn't do shit. Your top tier does most of the work. Chanting SEC is retarded. Live and learn.

You cant judge solely off of bowls anyway. Iowa is 5-2 vs the SEC in bowls with wins over Florida, LSU and South Carolina to name a few. Does that mean Iowa would be towards the top of the SEC year in and year out??

hell, i have no clue when we're even going to play them

Yea, I'm wondering how these 14 team conferences will end up feeling in a few years. I guess it isn't too big of a deal. It isn't like they're a top rival of yours.

First of all. This was never SEC vs B1G. This was questioning the dominance of the SEC as a whole. I'm not sure why or how you've managed to miss this fact, but you have. Sorry. And by the way, I know why you took the last 7 years and not the last 20, because I've seen all these numbers before, and I know that it doesn't look as good for you when you go back even 10 years. Let's not play this game YET again. We all know that the B1G SEC bowl rivalry was pretty tight until the last five years. And we all know the last 5 years has been atypical for the B1G. So let's get real, okay?
