Oregon is unlikely to win out, but if they do, they have a 71% chance of making the playoffs.

I think that's pretty generous.

SEC champ is in.
OSU/PSU is in
Clemson is in
And unless Oklahoma drops another game, I just can't see Oregon being taken over Oklahoma.

According to the ESPN models, OU would be left out if both win out.

Would ESPN folks be looking at how Auburn and Kansas State finish out? Because of Sooners and Oregon losing to each team. Maybe the Sooner loss looks worse because of the lead K State had on them. Be interesting to see what happens if both won out.

No, see, this is just what Oregon fans hope. It's in fact very unlikely. As things stand right now, it's likely Clemson makes it, two SEC teams make it and probably Ohio State. Oregon will be left out even if they run the table.

1 loss pac team has never missed the playoffs. Maybe next year Michigan will enter November with a chance

Ya committee will be reminded Oregon led the entire game other than the last 9 seconds. OU was just beat from start to finish. But I still think 1 loss SEC team gets in over UO.

IMO, 12-1 Pac-12 Champion Oregon should get in over any 1 loss non-Conference Champion (for sure) and / or 1 loss Big Xii Champion Oklahoma (with an easier OOC schedule). If a team losses in the last minute on day 1 against a solid OOC team like Auburn, runs the table and doesn't get in over the other 1 loss conference Champions and 1 loss non-conference champions, there is 0 incentive to schedule a game vs. Auburn like Oregon did. I 100% do not like Oregon football, but I will stick up for them if they get shunned in this scenario.

Someone may need to perform a wellness check on OD. Actually, fuck it. Let Darwinism happen here...

I told Oregon fans that Utah seems like the more complete team in the Pac. And after last night I still stand by that comment. Oregon has a very good team, it's just not a playoff calibur team.
