Won't happen! Snyder has deep pockets and the Skins are just a tax write off for him.
But if he owning the team begins to hurt the overall business of the NFL, he can be forced out by the other owners. This happened to the LA Dodgers several years ago.

I think Snyder is safe on that because he contributes a lot to the NFL picnic every year along with other things that keeps the NFL office happy. It's very difficult to make an NFL owner to sell his team.

The way I see things we've got only two choices as fans:

1/ Continue to put up with the product that Snyder puts on the field week after week

2/ Find another team to cheer for

Plus, he provides a team that every other team can routinely beat on. Almost like a second bye week. Every owner likes that.

Great point.
What would happen if fans literally stopped showing up at games due to a grass roots movement?
My fear is that the team will be slightly below average and the fans will stay on the hook with improvement "next year".

Truth be known, Snyder probably had a travel agency offering an attractive package to Dallas fans today with a bundle of tickets and hotel rooms at a great price because there sure were a lot of Dallas jerseys in attendance today at our stadium.

I hear you but I haven't decided who I'm going with yet since old and lifelong habits are hard to break.

I know this much, I'm getting tired of being depressed on most Sunday afternoons around 4:30PM (EST) because of a team I have cheered for all my life.

Where is DAD tonight? Hopefully he is still not in a coma or living in denial.

Dad, if you are reading this I seriously hope that you are doing okay.

Yep I hear you. Over 55 years as a fan for me. You can't change the spots on a leopard but there are some teams I follow more closely than in the past. Rams and Steelers for me. Pittsburgh seems to always have a player or two from Penn State and I still like Sean McVay.

Do you really believe that this team will be fine this year? Not that they can, but will they?

Only as good as its leaders, if that tells you anything.

I am still here also. What I learned a long time ago was not to expect too much as Dan is the owner. I have let myself get excited a couple of times and every time I do I am reminded my initial thought was correct.

Even before Snyder things have not gone well since Joe Gibbs left Petibon who I loved had a bad year. Then came Norv, Mr. 500.

28 years later old Joe is still winning, just at another sport.

I don't really expect the Redskins to go to a Super Bowl and maybe not the playoffs in my life time. Maybe if I live another 20 years. I'll keep hoping and rooting but I just don't see anyway it can happen with the current owner. I used to think years ago that I was so glad we did not have an owner like Bill Bidwell …. well, we do.

I like Sean McVay too!

I guess I should be a Carolina Panthers fan since they play in my state but they are as bad as the team is that I'm cheering for now and I don't need more Sunday afternoon depression.
