Still over at the swamp too?

Obviously the lure of constant stupidity and arguing with 3 year old trolls is way more enticing than actual hockey talk. I was amazed at the number of people who are still over there that were here for a few weeks ago. Oh well more power to them, I hope they are having fun arguing the semantics of stupidity!

I think I have learned more about actual hockey here in 2 months than I ever did in 5 years there!

It is nice not to have to sift through the trash to find it and not have the good threads hi-jacked.

I'm alway looking for good posters to invite here. We need more Bruins fans. You Flyers folks are taking over. And there are a some discussions there that stay troll free.

I go over mainly for the Flyers board. Good posters there who weren't NHL Generalites. It is also down to simply Flyers talk over there, too. I dont see a lot of maddog posts on the NHLGen Board (NGB for short (-: ) The Flyers family is great over there and I am not gonna leave them.

That was my biggest complaints over there. If people want to troll and act like idiots so be it but at least stay out of the good topics.

I look over there every now and then to see if I can contact a few of the good posters but it seems like some of them have stopped posting. I have tried to contact a couple via PM and e-mail tho. We will see.

I'll still post on the Sharks board. That board has always been good, except when the wings and hawks trolls invaded durring the playoffs. The main board has gone to shit since the exodus. It is now a much better representation of how hockey is viewed by the house of mouse.

I had been keeping tabs on the canucks board over there, but that's turned into a swamp jr. too. We have had or own problem poster for several years, and now the folks who have regularly chased him away have given up.

I sent a bunch of PMs to the decent posters I could find, but I don't know if they will ever check their inboxes. i didn't bother to announce the PMs in a thread.

Meh I just ignored all the nonesense over there. The only problem is that's mostly all there is now because all the good posters came over here. I'll still check it out now and then though since I'm on the NFL board over there once in a while too.

Just my quick take on the swamp - I don't have a problem with people here responding to troll posts over there (hey, sometimes you have to blow off a little steam). I consider that quite different from starting troll threads in the swamp, and I've seen very little of that behavior from the SportsHoopla posters.

When the playoffs are done I know us Flyers will get at least one more poster. If I read correctlyPhillyownsyou (LOL@mets) has been invited and says that he doesn't want to come over because of superstition.

I don't think you have to worry. Most of the Bruins fans who post do so on the Bruins board. I don't know if they will have any interest here where there is no team boards

I have looked there off an on, not sure when I last posted there though. If I saw something I wanted to respond to I would. Some days when looking there it has seemed that there have been much fewer posts there than used there used to be. Then at other times there are bunches of them, mostly all trollings.

I hope no one thinks I am trying to down anybody for going over there. Not the case at all, I just figured as much as everyone wanted to get away from there, it would be the last place we would want to visit let alone post, To each his own. I just like not having to wade through a ton of shit to find one golden nugget! Where it is the opposite here.

I haven't really posted over there in a while, but I check it out every so often. I'll probably go back to posting there a little once the playoffs are over and it settles down. It's far from the best place to post, but it sometimes offers quality threads.

My only hang up with guys posting over there is when they start quality threads on the MB that should be posted here.

We all know that MAYBE one or two good posters may join the discussion and carry the thread, but that doesn't happen. It gets quickly infested with assholes and the thread dies a slow miserable death.

I say....save the garbage, the hard personal insults and moronic trash talking for that stinking toilet and bring the good stuff here!
