With poor performance and the team for sale, Riverboat Ron has got to be a dead man walking. But, he won’t be fired until the team is sold next year.

I have inside information that is telling me that Doug Marrone won’t be head coaching this coming Sunday.

Rivera should have never been hired.
He must be in the list.

He literally has 4 straight losing seasons dating from Carolina and is on track for his 5th this year. Is their a modern coach who has had 5 straight losing seasons?

People talking about Hackett and McDaniels.

No coach in the last 40 years in the NFL has been fired mid-season in his first year other than Urban Meyer last year (but that was about other things than football performance). It's just not going to happen. Hell both guys will likely be in place next year too.

8 games isn't enough of a time to evaluate a coach. Hell a full season usually isn't. Bill Bellichick took over a Pat's team that had been 500 or over for 4 years previous to his arrival. His first season the team went 5-11. Bill Walsh's 1st two seasons he was 8-24. Bill Parcels was 3-12-1 in his 1st year with the Giants.

If a coach gets fired in his first year with a team, it says more about the franchise and the people doing the hiring than it does about the coach.

That's an expensive firing of Kingsbury. I know he's not making huge bucks, but it was a 6 year extension. Not sure of the terms of his contract, but if that's a typical head coach contract it's fully guaranteed. Certainly doesn't count against the cap but that's a hefty price. Course I'm not on Arizona's legal team so I have no clue what the conditions of the contract were.

You really had your fill of Kingsbury.
I gave him 3 years to prove himself. It ain't happening. The fact that the Cards are coming close in so many games despite Kingsbury is amazing.

The fan base is done with him. It could be more costly if they don't fire him.
