Rock Strongo
My mind spits with an enormous kickback.
now do TD's, yards, catches...Someone told me Ted Ginn is better than Jerry Rice
His YPC is better

Chiefs were a run first team. Priest Holmes and Larry Johnson ate most of those touchdowns.Just under 8,200 yards more, but Gonzalez has played in 171 more games so it would stand to reason that he has accumulated more of every stat. He was a fantastic TE, but the next time you see him pancake an O-lineman will be the first time. Our big galoot does it on a regular basis.
Some of the stats stand out when you look at the two careers.
Gonzalez 11.3 yds per catch and 56 yds per game. 270 games played, 111 career TDs
Gronk 15.1 yds per catch and 70.1 yds per game. 99 games played, 75 TDs
Tony is right.
captain pushoff lol
Not saying Gronk isn't a great TE, but Gonzalez had the pleasure of catching the ball from the likes of Grbac, Green, Huard, Croyle, Thigpen and Matty Ice (his last 5 years)......Chiefs were a run first team. Priest Holmes and Larry Johnson ate most of those touchdowns.
green was underrated, as was grbac. teams tried pulling elvis out of retirement for 5 years. Not saying Gronk isn't a great TE, but Gonzalez had the pleasure of catching the ball from the likes of Grbac, Green, Huard, Croyle, Thigpen and Matty Ice (his last 5 years)......
No doubt when Gronk plays, he is one of the best any of us have ever seen
Much like when Bo Jackson played, he was one of the best we have ever seen
But at some point we cant just "project" numbers and claim Player A was better than Player B, when Player B will absolutely demolish Player A in every statistic we have ever considered important in the NFL
Given the amount of wear on the tires right now I'd pick Kelce.
But if I could go to the dealership and chose between a brand new Kelce or a brand new Gronk? I'd get me a brand new Gronkowski with that new Gronk smell. <breaths in deeply> Ahhhhh, smells great.
"40 year old tight ends all average 17.4 per catch over their last 17 games"he is, he's a 40 year old trapped in the body of a 27 year old, or whatever he is
I know. I'm not saying he is the best, but is worth a mention. Pretty quiet here regarding JG. I think he leads the league in TD's for TE's but what is impressive is his results in coming back and excelling after the injury he had.
