I'm a little nervous going into the season with BJGE. He's hurt and we didnt get to see much.

Anyone on the waiver wire worth a look? Hightower?

thoughts?

Doesn't matter the Bengals Offensive line is crap. They can protect in passing downs but they can't open holes for the RB's. Witworth had a horrible preseason so I am not holding my breath for this season at all.

Looks like another stellar year for the running game! At this point my expectations for our running backs are so low that just about anything would be a pleasant surprise. Hopefully Gruden is the genius that so many want him to be.

The Bengals are just waiting for Bernard Scott to retire, he'll be a 50 year old backup running back.

Bring back DeDe Dorsey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hightower has a lingering knee issue too, so I'd say no on him. There weren't really any good ones released. I wish we could have drafted Doug Martin or David Wilson.

We're stuck with him for 3 years.

of course he didn't fumble, he served as running back per committee in a passing offense.

We just love to do 3 and out

I think it's hilarious that the first thing anyone ever sees about BJGE is that 'he never fumbles!' Isn't that just the best description of a team that is fine with the idea of 'playing not to lose?' He's the perfect fit for Marvin Lewis.

Sorry, our fan base has a 'must wear shoes and maintain a healthy number of teeth' policy. Steeler fans need not apply.

Yup. Nice feat, but still overstated.

Of course it would have been better to dole out a little more cash for Bush so we'd have a legitimate pass-catching threat out of the backfield when the run game was dead, but apparently our M.O. over the offseason was only making an effort to sign 2nd/3rd tier - by availability - players.

That's a lame argument. BJGE is as good a receiver as Bush. Just because he didn't have as many catches doesn't mean he's not.

Watching him catch the ball. He uses good form and has good hands.

New England choose to throw to other people. BJGE will come out on third downs for Leanord most likely.

BJGE wasn't as explosive in 2011 as he was in 2010, I hope he didn't just come here to die, we'll see I guess.
