Who's looking forward to the davis cup finals?

I know I am....At least for the single matches.

I could careless about the double matches but it is being played in France on indoor clay.

The French roster includes Tsonga, Monfils, Benneteau, & Gasquet while Switzerland are obviously bringing Fed & Stan along with 2 unknowns for doubles I assume?

Actually, not me. I am not trying to be a douche or anything, I just don't like these types of formats. Same for team tennis. I am all for trying to expand and improve the sport. I just do not think this is the best way to do it. I would watch a celebrity Pro/Am before these things.

Sometimes I don't even think the players take it seriously.

I always question a professional wasting time for king and country though. Risking injury.

davis cup is a big deal for most pros

In tennis it's different though because unlike NBA players, Futbol players, or MLB players in tennis davis cup almost comes as another tournament in the tennis season. it does not take place in the offseason so no big deal to me
