Bird numbers are down 30 % in the Panhandle. I have been seeing good numbers of birds but nothing like the last two years.
I am going to but two new dogs Friday. Mrs. Neb gave the go ahead.

Good luck man! It's the Wa opener as well. Haven't ran Boomer yet this year so it might be a short outing. I'll post a pic tomorrow, hopefully it has a few birds in it.

It's just a stoeger condor in 20 gauge. Nothing fancy, but wanted something lighter to hike around with.

That's a blue grouse. We saw a ton down there. Most of the time I pack my .22 with me for grouse. Elk ended with September tho, he didn't get an elk.
