We need offense, specifically wingers who can snipe, crash, and bang. But due to Lidstrom's looming retirement, a plethora of defensively challenged defensemen, and my own obsessive man crush, I will pick Ryan Suter. He can gobble up minutes, free up his defensive partner to do a little free wheeling, kill penalties, and be an all-round beast in all three zones.

A forward would be really nice though, especially a top six guy who can score and bust skulls. I like David Backes in that role.

I was in net. I don't remember him ever scoring on me (but it's possible), I just remember him trying to get scrappy with my d-men. As an undersized goalie, they didn't let anyone get near me.

It's cool. He went to Plumb high school, which didn't advance as far as my school Canevin did that year.
