Looking at all the guys they have right now, I think this is hard to figure out and I feel like most of them are worth keeping. It will be interesting to see if Fuller can hold on to his spot or get cut. The rumor is Broyles is finally 100 percent and still never drops passes. Lance Moore probably offers a lot given his experience in the system. Jones is a unknown so we don't know what he brings.

My favorites to make it are Fuller, Moore and Broyles. I think a lot depends on who they actually keep at RB and if Fauria makes the squad.

Good question. My guess is that both are rotating doors all season. Probably get a lot more 2 WR and 1 TE formations more than 3 WR sets. When a 3rd WR does join the group it will probably instead be a 2nd RB like Abdullah or Riddick out there.

There simply aren't any real weapons at WR on this team after Calvin and Tate. Better pray for no injuries.

I imagine Fuller has to be the favorite. He should make the squad as a occasional deep threat regardless. Probably won't need him much though since the coaching staff has told us that Ebron is going to be awesome this year.

I would cut Fauria so fast it is not even funny. Moore in this offense is probably going to win the slot and Broyles may even make it as a 5 (someone has to lower the drop rate). Fuller is in. Hopefully they send Ross packing as well.

No love for Redshirt Freshman TJ Jones!?!

I think Broyles gets cut. I hope he gets cut. If I have to watch Fuller and Ross drop passes while there's a compitent replacement standing on the sidelines, I'll be annoyed.

I could see Lance Moore catching 30 passes this year. But I can see Theo Riddick catching 50.

I am hoping Jones beats Ross for the KR and becomes the last WR. As far as Broyles, As long as he can still get open I would keep him. If his route running has been compromised then he is done.

I hope they keep Moore as the 3, Fuller as the 4, and Broyles as the 5. Jones as the 6th if we keep 6, otherwise send him to the practice squad to keep him in the mix. Cut Ross.

So you're a puke smells better than shit kind of guy?
No I liked Jones as a slot guy coming out of college...he was projected as a 4th or 5th we got him in the 6th. He is a 4.4 guy with good hands. Fuller has a huge upside with size and speed(he ran a 4.32). It usually takes receivers 3-4 years to develop. Fuller got some good experience last year, he is on the rise.
Ross had some apparently fluke returns 2 years ago, and nothing since, and is sub par as a reciever. As far as Broyles....2 major injuries...it is unlikely he will ever amount to much.
I dont know what is not to like about Jones and Fuller, except that they werent high draft picks.

"I think he is a developmental guy,” Mayhew told media members right after picking Fuller. “He has not played a whole lot of football. But we see a lot of upside with him and we see a guy that's got some ability possibly to help us with special teams while he's developing. So we see a guy with a lot of tools."

Sounds great.

Yes Rob, you see in pro football you have to develop players. There is this process called the draft where you choose from a pool of players and then you "develop" them through training and practice. Sometimes this process takes years.

Heard same argument for guys like Jonte Green, Chris Greenwood, and Jason Fox until the day they were cut.

Yes and Slay, Waddle, Watford, Reiff, Levy and Whitehead.
I get what you're saying though. Why can't we be like that one team who develops every player they draft into a starter.

Fuller seems to have a lot of untapped potential. If he put in the work over the summer that he should have I'd say he's the lock. I'd have to give the inside track to Moore for another spot because of his experience in the offense. I'll be pulling for Broyles for the last spot. I like his game and I want to see him get past all the injuries and contribute. Even more so, I'll be pissed if they finally give up on him and he becomes a solid player for another team.

The same Jason Fox that started a few game for your Fish? Fuller was a 6th rounder. If he continues to grow and contribute it's all bonus.

Oh, joy! At this pace maybe Fuller can play a few games for Miami in a couple of years. Lucky kid.
