Corner, Pass rush, Oline... You know, the pieces you should be solid at before adding the next franchise QB. The way this team has drafted lately we need every pick we can muster to solidify those positions. 2nd round picks are way more valuable than oft injured average QBs.
We have plenty of CB's and our OL is pretty solid. From what I've gathered on our roster is to bolster our pass rush and LB's.

OL is not solid. They have no LT now that Brown is gone. They have no center since they don’t plan to resign Pocic and could use a upgrade at guard over Shell who is oft injured and inconsistent.

Duane Brown is still there as far as I know. We just signed Blythe from the Chiefs. He can play both C and G.

I feel like this draft has pretty good depth and those two seconds are very valuable. I WOULD NOT give either of them up for mayfield.

see what Lock can do and if he is no better than a backup, draft one in 23

brown is an FA, we currently have nobody starting at LT.

I'm sure at some point we'll bring Brown back. If not we could always sign Trent Brown from the Patriots.

Blythe could be in the mix but would not assume he’s the answer at starter but at least some depth. It is pretty certain Brown will not be on the roster.

Mayfield is a bust. Giving up a 2nd for him is a expensive waste of draft capitol we just got . Terrible idea, simply terrible. Only thing worse is they do trade for him then give him an extension. That would cause me to lose my mind.
This is true, but think of all the great commercials he could make at Lumen Field.

Seriously, getting Mayfield would be the equivalent of getting Carson Wentz or Jared Goff. Roll with Lock and maybe take a QB in the 2023 draft.

What holes do we have to fill? We have a decent group of guys in our secondary with Brown and Burns. Diggs back at safety. Our front 7 is decent as well. Only position I feel we need to address is RB with Carson and Penny injured too often.
Burns has played his way off of 2 teams in the past 2 years. At this point he is a cross your fingers reclamation attempt (he was a #4 on the depth chart last year for Chicago)

It took Jones over half of the year before he clicked, and as of now I expect him to be a starter. Hopefully Burns steps up but I'm not counting on it yet. At least he should have a full camp to learn the D.

Russell Wilson playoff performance
BC (before Ciara): 4 years, 10 games, 7 wins 3 losses
AC (after Ciara): 6 years, 6 games, 2 wins 4 losses

Oh come on that is so unfair lol

Lets ignore the team falling apart around him with players leaving left and right. This team was a shell of it's former self. Kam, Sherman, Thomas, Avril, Bennett, Lynch, Bobby and KJ were special players. Brutal talent to bleed when you don't replace it with more talent, that's where the bad drafting and having very low draft capital bites you hard. Kind of like right now lol

You what was really laughable about those two? Ciara prancing around sexy little outfits, nothing covering 80% of her body, and then they say they are going to be celibate until they got married. That's when I knew Russell had turned into an attention whore diva.

What does any of that have to do with RW's onfield performance?

Read up on causation vs correlation because your "logic" makes no sense.

What are you, Mr Mensa IQ? I have to run my logic by you before it qualifys? Who cares if it doesn't make sense to you? I don't.

Well, I have to admit when I made this thread and this poll I didn't foresee Baker Mayfield as an option. I don't dislike the guy, he's not the greatest QB, but he's not the worst either. I think he'd be fun to watch in a Seahawks uni. And honestly all I'm looking for is "fun to watch" this year. I have no expectations for wins. I just want to be entertained a little on Sundays. I think Mayfield could be entertaining.

Sorry but your equating your own personal moral judgements into onfield performance is ridiculous.
