I think it'll ultimately be Tate, but that doesn't mean I necessarily agree with it. Harvin was brought here because of how versatile he is... it's the reason he was in the MVP discussion until he got hurt, so I don't know why we would all of a sudden stifle that versatility by essentially limiting him to WR and a couple handful of carries out of the backfield. Sure, he'll be use at probably every receiver position, but he's shown much more versatility than that. I understand protecting your investment and that returning kicks leaves anyone doing that job vulnerable to injury, but we'd have been better off keeping Washington and cutting someone else if we needed the cash and weren't going to use Harvin to return kicks.

Blackmon used to be a solid returner for GB a few years ago. Could be a decent wildcard.

why not have Christine Michaels as the return guy? He is supposedly very quick and it'll be tough finding enough snaps for all three of our running backs

I would use Harvin only in late game situations when trailing. Other then that, Golden Tate from here on out.

I think it will be Tate getting 70-80 percent of the the kick and punt returns and Harvin will be utilized in crucial moments where we need a big spark or a big play

I would expect Michaels and Tate to split the bulk of the work if Harvin is officially out of the picture. Veltung is a speedster and was a pretty solid return guy in college, but he has a habit of making bad decisions in the heat of the moment.

Agreed. When we aquired PH, we let Leon Washington go. We obviously will have him out there sometimes for PR/KR duties in certain situations, but expect the Seahawks to use Tate alot along with a few others.

Good lord. I'm so jacked for this season. Adding PH to this offense is so redunkulous. It's such an incrediblely perfect fit. The curb stomp on Sept 15 is lining up to be even worse than 42-13. Harbaugh will require multiple diaper changes on the sidelines.
