He's also never had an elite receiver....if they got him one.....he'd be even already better than he already is.....

Its tough because I see both sides to this argument.

We've seen elite running QBs flame out after peak seasons but Lamar as a whole still has fairly respectable numbers even if he is getting worse every year. He has to stop getting worse, though. Mark Andrews is a legit elite TE. He is losing Hollywood Brown but still has Bateman. Got a top tier C prospect in the draft last year. Has 1 franchise OT. Top QBs have to make that work.

Mark Andrews is a legit elite TE. He is losing Hollywood Brown but still has Bateman. Got a top tier C prospect in the draft last year. Has 1 franchise OT. Top QBs have to make that work.

Sure, but he's never had an elite receiver. Andrews is a really good TE but Hollywood is a #2 WR on a really good team and Bateman isn't that good. At least so far. He posted pedestrian numbers.

Ravens routinely have one of the better rosters in the league top to bottom, though. They were ravaged with injuries last year but as a whole its really hard for me to buy into the 'he hasn't held help' argument when the Ravens are known for being one of the better organizations.

He's got the worse receiving core of any top QB not named Aaron Rodgers.
