I went with Schwartz and most here know how I just love him.

I get the passion y'all speak of, however that passion translated IMO to a coach out of control and making some stupid stupid decisions. I also like that Jim better because I knew how he felt by looking at his face. This Jim, not so much. He did clap in the Bears game though.

Was that before or after throwing the flag on that long TD run and get penalized for trying to challenge a TD when they are automatically reviewed, thus taking away any review of the play?

Forgot who it was that was blatantly down, but ended up with like an 80 yard TD run.

It was Justin Forsett of the Texans. The rule had JUST been put in place a week before thanks to Mike Smith. Schwartz threw the flag out of emotion because of what an incredibly bad call it was, this being the year after we lost a game on the Calvin TD, so he gets a free pass from me there.

Where was Caldwell's tirade last year in Dallas or this year vs Seattle? Nothing. Whether he didn't know the rules or didn't care to fight for his players, idk. And that's why the players have quit on him. The players never quit on Schwartz.

Where do you see players quitting on him? I see an offensive line that looks confused throughout the game on what their assignments are. I see a defense that has dealt with one injury after another and also a few guys who have definitely slowed a step due to age or injury this year (Ihedbigo, Tulloch and Mathis).

While I want Caldwell gone -- it is due to how he wants the team to play on offense, why I want him gone. He wants to run the ball, dink and dump passes and wants the QB to be a game manager. Problem is -- Detroit's offense is built to throw it downfield and that is Stafford's strength.

Caldwell doesn't fit the personnel the team has on the roster. Mayhew isn't helping out, as drafting a one dimensional TE isn't going to help what Caldwell wanted to do. It is almost as if Mayhew has one idea where he wants the team to be and Caldwell has his own idea. So to me -- I hope they both go.
