He is a senior, I'm not sure what his draft stock is at this point but I'm sure it's rising quick

Bro, Tua will NEVER do anything in the NFL worth mentioning. IF he gets to play he will be broken into pieces in 1 1/2 yrs max.

The only reason he is know is because he is on a GREAT college football team.. Look at what they did last week without Tua... No fall off what so ever.

HIghest bidder is a bit misleading, but the Dolphins did get him with the 4th overall pick and he was finally finding success with the Dolphins this year (still don't understand that complete no-show vs the Titans in week 17, win that game and they are likely in the playoffs).

Of course, Herbert being drafted 5th and excelling quicker (which will likely continue for their careers) makes the Tua pick shaky.

Dolphins won their last 2 games and 3 of their last 5 in 2019. Doesn't seem like a tanking team to me.

You are not paying attention. These wins are what got Flores fired! Ross wanted the tank! From September 2019

Again, this doesn’t mean that coach Brian Flores and his staff are actually not trying to win. Flores is a respected coach with a strong work
ethic
and high character.
But the perception wasn’t good before Sunday, and now it’s getting worse after a 49-point loss to the Ravens.

It’s inevitable that, eventually, people inside the locker room were going to notice. They now have, and some of them want out.

I haven't been following this too closely but wasn't the main issue from Miami ownership that Flores wasn't tanking? That seems consistent with Miami winning a few games, still in a position to draft Tua under the assumption that he was the prize, and picked him. Flores apparently didn't like Tua according to the rumors. It does all seem fairly consistent.

Burrow is clearly the better QB at this stage, though. So maybe Miami ownership is really upset that they're left with Tua and not Burrow. They also traded a first round pick to move up to get Waddle. Direct byproduct of them winning too much was losing a first rounder.

You're forgetting that Miami traded DOWN first before moving back up for Waddle. They had the #3 overall pick that went to SF before moving around. That move was about acquiring picks while still positioning themselves for the player they wanted. Not giving up value for the player they wanted.

Ah true. I did forget the Lance trade. I got all that wrong because that wasn't their original pick. That was the Texans gaffe that got them up top and not anything they did on the field.
