Just realized that they play Denver at home also. At first I thought SF would be a slam dunk but will they really turn down a SB rematch in week one?
Won't be Denver because of how horrible the game was. I think they let Green Bay get their revenge week 1 of the season.
I can't imagine greenbay wants to begin their season with a loss of epic proportion. Maybe greenbay could switch to the pillow fight almost football conference?

Really hope its not the Niners, It seems like we always have to go to there place for Prime Time games where the crowd is extra amped. I say let it be Green Bay or Denver and we can host Seattle for the Levi's Stadium opener next Sunday night.

It is highly unlikely that it will be SF. The NFL likes to reverse the order of home/away in rivalry games and we played SF first at home last year. This years SF series should start at SF and home against them late in the year.
The league gets to pick it and the question is will CBS try to lobby the league to protect their rights to the Denver@Seattle game? If they do it will probably be GB and if the league says we don't care if we take the single largest game on your schedule away from you we want that game it will be Denver.
Denver/Seattle may be on FOX
They were saying on the radio earlier that it was CBS's and I was confused by that as it is usually on the home team and that should make it fox, but I didn't argue. Wouldn't be the first time a radio personality was wrong for sure.
The radio guys were correct, TV rights are based on who is the road team in interconference matchups. I don't know if it's always been that way, but it has been the last few years. If you go back and check the highlights you'll see that the Seattle games against Houston and Indy were on Fox and the games against Tennessee and Jacksonville were on CBS.
