One thing you guys are forgetting is that Exum doesn't have to play PG. He is 6'6 and could play the 1 or 2 spot, depending on where needed in the roster.

Imo, I would take Exum over anyone. He has been said to have the speed and athleticism of Westbrook! He is a 6'6 PG with that speed and athleticism! He wants to play in LA and be mentored by Kobe! Every scouting report I've seen basically says they can't find a weakness.

Biggest potential for bust, by far and it's not even close, is Embiid. Yes he has a high ceiling; But he also has a very low floor. If we miss out on this pick we are toast. Too big a risk.

i've leaned towards Embiid from day one, but as far as enthusiasm and DESIRE to be a Laker you'd have to LOVE Exum in a Lakers uni...

as far as Embiid's so-called "injury issues" it isn't like the guy's been hurt all that much. i think folks shouldn't be scared off by one injury...
