I think he would..... What's in it for him? Dalton has earned his contract and he's very durable. The thumb injury was a fluke thing. If AJ beats Denver, some team will offer a 2nd rounder for him.
He wouldn't trade Palmer when he wasn't even paying him. Now, I digress, that was a totally different scenario, but still...not sure I see Brown trading him away.

Or, maybe more likely is that Brown thinks he's worth a 1st round pick, and won't budge, refusing other offers that are legit.

The Palmer thing bothered Mike..... He wasn't loyal to the Brown family and that irked him.

I can see him dealing AJ and making a fuss about how much they liked the kid, how good the coaches did in developing him and how its all about the "new" Bengal way of doing business.

But I can see your point about the first round deal..... Then again, there are a lot of stupid owners out there - Maybe one of them would roll the dice.

Iloka wants a lot of money, and is always hurt. He'll be re-signed.
Reggie is good. He will leave.

Iloka played in 7 games his rookie year (not bad considering how rarely rookies get used)

16 games in 2013
16 games in 2014

11 games so far this year, and if he can play the final two games, he'll have missed 3 games.

I wouldn't say he's "always" hurt.

He has come out of at least 2 games this year, so that stat is a little misleading, but fair enough.

I still don't think he's worth "top" safety money that he thinks he will get.
I'm ok with re-signing him at a decent price.

Agreed. I think he's likely to get less than Nelson after (potentially) leading the NFL in INT's. Also, Iloka is younger, which would bode well to see more production out of the back end of the contract he signs over Nelson.

But, the decent price is right. When you have as many guys up for F/A as they will this off-season, tough decisions will be made, and you simply can't (and should not) pay everyone.

I say we just cut Dalton and spend that money on some of our own FA's.

As good as PacMan has been, I'd let him walk if he demands big money on the open market...... He'll be 33 years old next year and while some corners have played well into their mid-30s, it's not all that common. I'd say it's easier for an aging safety than an aging corner. Cue all the fans suggesting Jones play safety.

I'd go with Dennard, Swag, a 1st round pick and a veteran slot guy. I think the secondary will need to be addressed in the draft. It's probably the top priority.

at least Denver isn't playing their best either.

I refuse to believe Brock is a good QB

disagree Denver looked bad at Pittsburgh. However we DID look bad against them.
Nelson and pacman are 2 of my fav Bengs. Guys who think they can win. I have no idea how Dre fits in. Not impressed with him.

2 good defenses(lowest PPG against) vs 1 bad offense and Cincy minus Dalton(Does that = bad offense?)

Should be low scoring. My guess is neither team will be blown-out and Cincy pulls off the win.

The problem is, Kirkpatrick is awful. He's one of the worst rated CB's in all of football. Hall is gone, so you are left with Denard coming off shoulder surgery, and.....????

At least with safety there some decent depth. Williams has shown he can step in and make plays (1st Pitt game, 49ers game).

Iloka, Jones are 1-2 on my list. But I agree, you can't overpay. But that goes for any player. This is where teams get into trouble.
