I think the constant fighting and bickering slowly but surely kills the board. At ESPN there were so many people that it didn't matter as much, but when every thread turns into a pissing match (my self included at times) it ruins the board. Part time posters don't bother reading and the usual posters don't know where to comment and what to ignore...

That being said...Are you ready for some Football!!!!

Just saw they made the announcement on who starts at LB.
Weak - Durant; Middle - McClain; Strong - Carter

No big surprise. Here's to hoping McClain remembers how to play or we could be in trouble with this group...not like we had a lot of options once Lee went down any way

still think the DB play will be above average this year and the line rotation serviceable.
It's as if the whole defense relies on McClain being what his talent says he should be.

Ive been told twice in a month that I start too many threads so I will sit back for awhile and respond . Yes ready for football. I thought the Pack looked bad last night especially AROD- thanks for the fantasy points dickhead. I thought Wilson's stats looked a lot better than he played. He should have had two INTS maybe 3. 2 were dropped though. Harvin looks like a serious threat when healthy. On another note since I dont want to start a new thread- I saw where Ellington was out for a good amount of time. I wonder if Williams will go back to Arizona or hopefully that bridge has burned.

I was disappointed Rodgers didnt try Sherman. I think he actually had a time or two where he had him bored. When Deon was in his glory days , I remember he wouldnt even go to the huddle on defense. Now if he was playing against us , Aikman went at him quite a bit and was actually pretty successful.

Not sure but Jarntt is most likely right. I know I've been part of the fight so I can't/won't point fingers. Most likely if there's reason to bicker I'd be right there again.

Maybe with the start of the season upon us we can start acting our age.

yes....Dallas went right at Prime. You have to use the whole field

I made it a little easier to go after Prime and Green when you have Irvin. He knew how to keep himself between the ball and the defender. Plus he wasn't afraid of offensive PI if it meant preventing an int.

The redskin board made out well with some football astute new posters. Caught this today and thought it was pretty darn profound when it comes to message boards

"I don't assume anyone here isn't a hardcore fan, but there have been people on every side of every issue about every player since message boards first started, so this is pretty typical discussion really. No one will change their minds, but generally someone gets to pound their chest and do the proverbial "I told you so" eventually... and thats kinda all we ever really accomplish here.
