My all time faves played in the ABA Mel Daniels and Roger Brown. People forget they clocked the Bucks when they had Jabbar and Robinson in an exhibition game after both had won their respective titles the previous season. Same for the Knicks. Of course in those days I saw those games and the ABA Championships live.

There are a lot of players that are seldom mentioned these days. I have Wilt and Oscar at the top of my list although Magic and Bird are in my top 10 along with Michael. But I really liked watching Jerry West and Jamaal Wilkes. Those guys were almost poetic in the way they played.


Then there is the Doctor and Charlie Scott. Those guys were pure excitement even though they were often beating my team.
