Sometimes I feel badly for Mets fans because of the shithole of a franchise they root for. Other times, when some of their fans get all uppity because the team plays in New York, I laugh about what a dumpster fire they are.
Shit baseball franchises in New York City are still shit baseball franchises.
Multiply it by a million when you live here...Met fans in this city never learn......Every April, this team is destined for a World Title.....By Every June, they are trotting out their AA pitching staff, due to injuries
Partial tear of right lat muscle, no timetable for return.Mets' Noah Syndergaard leaves with an injury in first start after refusing MRI

It's so awesome being a fan of a team that has won in the last decade. 1948- jeesh. I'm not good with American history- was Teddy still President, or had we made it to FDR by then, or maybe even someone else?I can only imagine.
Typically, when I'm critical of the Mets on these kinds of boards, I'll inevitably hear something like, "that's great, coming from an Indians fan," which just goes to show that they have no clear understanding of where the Mets fit in baseball's hierarchy.
"we won a championship three decades ago!"
Good for you, dude. I'll just assume you're still wearing parachute pants, Reebok Pumps and a Member's Only jacket.

I'm a stupid pubescent cheesesteak, remember? I don't even know what "unequivocal" means. I did say he's one of the best pitchers in baseball though. Now, you're getting a little cranky- might be time for your nicotine break.Hey, isn't the topic of this thread the guy you claim is the unequivocal best pitcher in the bigs despite never pitching more than 185 innings in any season?
Nope, not one of the best pitchers in baseball, Slinky. Silly me.

If you want to make an argument that he's not undeniably the best, fine. But if you want to make the argument that Kershaw was undeniably the best last year, I have three letters for you my friend- L O L
Winning a World Series championship is awesome. It's kind of like losing your virginity in a hot-tub as you shoot up a speedball. Hopefully you'll be able to experience it some day (the losing your virginity part, as the Indians aren't winning jack-shit ever)Hey, isn't the topic of this thread the guy you claim is the unequivocal best pitcher in the bigs despite never pitching more than 185 innings in any season?

The Indians fan is making Mets jokes? And the smoker is making fat jokes?!?!The fat guy is making virgin jokes?!?! Dios mio.

It's ok- I'd be bitter too if I laughed at a guy who said that Noah Syndergaard might be the best pitcher in baseball, and then it turned out that he was
