The Browns became the Ravens and won a SB but somehow when the Browns came back all of that history went to the expansion team of the same name....strange. I guess the Browns have never won one because of that.

I can imagine that really sucked a big one for the fans in Cleveland. Imagine if the Thunder win an NBA championship with the team they stole, (with the help of really stupid seattle politicians, and a POS owner) from us. I don't watch the NBA anymore.

I like what the Bengals and Lions have going for them right now. Either of them should be able to make the playoffs these next few years

Well we know the Eagles wont ever clear the cobwebs from the trophy case. :heh:

They can have great teams & still never win a Superbowl Championship before the NFL folds. They are like the Cubs of football. :behindsofa: :becky:

I think the Panthers and Cardinals are probably the best two on that list but the NFC is likely to be a dog fight again next year.

So I give the two decent AFC teams on that list the best shot Bengals and Chargers.

I pretty much agree there with Carolina especially but my problem with the Bengals is their coach and their QB. They seem to fall short come play-off time. The Cards are definitely coming but in a really tough division for a couple years at least so we will see what their window is like. Carson Palmer gets a tough rap, imo. When the line doesn't protect him, he's a turn-over machine but when he has time, he can be as good as anyone out there. I know that is pretty much most QB's but he is the most extreme case on either end. If they could get a late round guy and not have to play him until he's ready, CP could teach him how to play at this level, if Palmer is willing to do that. Too many young guys being thrown to the wolves these days are being set up for failure. Some guys can handle it but there are lots of busts out there because of it.

I had thought about the bengals, but they just lost all their coordinators

If the Vikings ever found a decent QB they could do it.

We are not redskin fans claiming Superbowls before seasons start on a yearly basis. Don't think to many cowboy fans really think we will be in a superbowl anytime soon. So none of what you said here carries any water.
(wasn't even all that clever)
Fact is the eagles is on the list of no superbowl victories, & it shall remain that way. I am not a fan of Jerry Jones, but we are stuck with him. Atleast he put three more trophys in the case under his watch.
Quit eating sour grapes. It gives you bitter beer face! :becky:

:L I know....

No seriously if Andy was still in Philly then I would say my Iggles, but there is a different approach with the team since Kelly has taken over, I'm not calling it for next season ( since the secondary needs major help) but the next couple of season could get interesting...

Honestly, I would like to see Philly fans get one just for all the suffering and "oh so close" that they have endured. Especially when all the other teams in their division have multiple trophies in the case. But they seem to be jinxed. Those teams in the early 00's had everything they needed to win and still could only get to one SB. I don't know, maybe if they get that defense working, they might have a window here coming up but it will be really tough.

Cinci is another team that has had some really good teams only to come up short but they are making a habit of early play-off exits and Andy Dalton doesn't impress me in clutch time. Marvin Lewis, imo, is a great DC but not a good HC. I can't see them winning with that combination.

I think right now you have to look at the Arizona Cardinals, they win 10 games and didn't make the playoffs, granted they play SF twice, and the Sea squirrels twice, but if they play like the did toward the end of this season, they could be off the list...
