That Green Bay team had no business winning a championship. That team has no business winning the NFC North year in and year out. It had no business being a play or 2 away from another Superbowl trip last year. They've been in the mix every year when the Oline has sucked most years, the running game is just starting to be effective, the defense has been mediocre at best and near the bottom of the league at worst. But every year they are a Superbowl favorite going into the playoffs. I have to disagree with you, Aaron Rodgers pretty much carries that team every Sunday.

That SB team had a top 5 defense. The league DMVP. And the difference in that SB was a defensive TD. I'll agree that without Rodgers they would be nowhere close to that game, but the same could be said for the collection of playmakers on D that year.

Green Bay's offense kept the D fresh and off the field. They put up a lot of points and had other teams trying to pass to keep up or catch up. The game is easier for a defense when they know what's coming. That defense's ranking IMO had a lot to do with Rodgers. On film they were mediocre.

They were 7th in TOP, 10th in scoring, and 10th in TOs lost. Good, but not so dominant that it was the primary reason for their defense to be top 5.

And conversely, the defense was 2nd in scoring, 6th in TOs and 4th in sacks. It could be argued that the defense helped the offense by putting the in good position more than the other way around.

How can Tony Romo seriously be in the discussion? aaron Rodgers is well beyond Romo's level, as Rodgers is basically the only QB in the league who can carry his entire team. Romo has been the tape that has held the team together, and until last year he was sometimes the only thing that went right for them. But he can't carry the whole team all the way, neither can Brady, Roethlisberger, Flacco, or Brees, and obviously not any other QB who hasn't won a SB. I believe that right now, Rodgers is the only other QB that could do better than Romo in Dallas. Brady's had the same coach, dominant OL and always manages to have a defense and running game. It's clearly not about Tom Brady either. He shouldn't be listed.

You went through this whole anti-Romo rant basically it's Rodgers then the rest and you voted for Peyton?

Now I do agree Romo isn't the best QB in the league, never was, but with you I get a sense of jealous hostilities.

Had to pick Tom Brady. I just could never pick Aaron Rodgers. My hatred for GB runs too deep. Yea, I'm biased. Sue me!

Well at least you admit your hatred for Rodgers weighed on you decision. I can respect that.

Bitter Lions fan. Jealous of Green Bay owning the North year after year after year after year after year.....

It's always amusing to see fans of other NFC North teams call the Packers mediocre because you're basically calling your own team much less than mediocre as a result.

Right now, not counting any history, pretty boy Rodgers is the best QB in the NFL today.

If you want ad all the years each current QB has played, Brady would probably be at the top. Rothlesbuerger would be nipping on his heels.

My Packers fan heart says Aaron Rogers. My logical brain still says Aaron Rogers.

Aaron Rodgers, but Andrew Luck should be up on that list if you're including Cam Newton and Joe Flacco.

I'd say either Brady or Rodgers. Based on the whole deflategate thing, I picked Rodgers. Rodgers is dead accurate and isn't a cheater.

Only care about playoff wins. The best playoff QB today is One Joseph Flacco. Nobody travels and wins like him. Case closed.

Tom Brady. Last time he played no one could stop him and last time he played he did it against the best defense in the league. That's not true for any other QB.

So if we are talking "right now" then it's Tom Brady and no one else is even close. He absolutely shredded the Seahawks in the 4th quarter of the Super Bowl.

Doesn't Eli Manning have 2 Super Bowls wins from teams that played in Wild Card games? In his 1st one, the Giants didn't play at home once in the playoffs.

Aaron Rodgers (no QB comes close to being able to do what he does on the field)

4 million miles

Andrew Luck (this guy has played with a 1-15 roster his whole career. Awful running game, awful Oline, awful defense, useless coach, one receiver)

Who leads that Colts roster to the playoffs every year?

rodgers over inflates his balls, exceeding the psi limit.
