Wasn't the Marty firing more about bringing in Spurier more than Marty not doing a good job.

Maybe, and this Miami thing may be about them thinking they can get a better coach in part. All I know is that as an Eagles fan I was happy they fired Marty because you could see the team was heading in the right direction under him, getting back to playing tough, disciplined football etc.

I suspect they are happy in Foxboro today also, knowing that Miami was on the right path under Flores and may now take a step back again.

Miami firing Flores has to be one of the worst firings of recent memory. They overachieved the past two seasons imo.

Zimmer - Vikings

I'll worry about that if Quinn infact leaves. Hopefully he looks at a few HC jobs and says "Been there done that" and hangs around another year.

If he leaves, I'll be OK with Zimmer, but I'd also look at vic Fangio or promoting Joe Whitt.

I think if Dan leaves he may try to take Whitt with him, which would force Dallas to promote him.
