Who else here owns Brees, and how confident are we in our 41-year old QB1?

I'm reading negative opinions of him from fantasy experts. And Michael Thomas is out.

I wasn't high on him going into the season, not having Thomas doesn't help.

those negative opinions about him were there in the beginning of the season too... NO has become a run first offense to open up an efficient passing offense...

and Brees has been seen on the decline for a while, and mentions that he only plays well at home have been made for the past 5+ seasons...

With all that said, the one thing he has going for him is that his RB 1 is a pass catching RB... so he does have a decent floor...

And I own his RB1, so that's a plus. But I'm honestly just thinking about dumping Brees and streaming QB's. LOL.

I drafted Brees in the 10th round and drafted Burrow in the 12th round. I quickly dropped Burrow. I'm a total mess as a fantasy manager. LOL.

cousins is the safest, Trubs is not a realistic candidate...

Minshew, Burrow, Mayfield all have similar upside... But I would go Minshew, simply because he doesn't have to face the steelers or Ravens defenses...

I like Burrow a lot... and yes, he will run... its instinct, you don't mess with instinct on year one...

But Burrow has the same problem as Mayfield, as he has to face the steelers and Ravens twice... expect lots of turnovers those games...

I just read that Next Gen captured Burrow's max speed on his TD run at 14.87 mph. That's not fast, but in his defense, it was only a 23 yard run, so he didn't have enough room to hit top speed.

Good point. I did just see that one of the Baltimore games for Burrow is in Week 17, so that game is totally irrelevant in my league.

And they don't get rushing yards and rushing TD's, so their ceiling is limited.

I dropped Brees yesterday afternoon and picked up Burrow and started him. I was very happy last night, but I'm going to be saying my prayers that Burrow will survive this Cincy o-line.

I always go with a backup QB- that will be Brees.
