I honestly feel that if the Habs had a decent offense and attempted to have one, that Plekanec would be a top 10 forward in the league. As it is now he is still their most steady player and is good both offensively and defensively.

Pretty easy for me, it's Olli Jokinen. The guy gives 100% every game and although he may have lost some of his scoring tough (scored a beauty GWG last night though), his commitment to defensive play is the best amongst the Flames forwards.

I think he gets decent credit from Devils fans, but Patrik Elias is solid year in and year out. He has the skillset where if he wanted to focus solely on offense he would be a top 20 point producer every year, but instead he rounds out his game and is one of the best back checkers in the league. I also believe he is one of, if not the biggest leaders on the Devils. A natural left winger that was forced to play center and has excelled, Patrik Elias is the man.

P.A. Parenteau. He brings speed to whatever line he's on. He's a good playmaker. Parenteau also fits Chuck's fiscal responsibility. Last year Parenteau made 600K, this year he makes 1.25M.

Pascal Dupuis is the player I give too little credit, personally, so I assume other Penguins fans don't give him enough credit either. Good for over 35 points and 15-20 goals every year, strong penalty killer and back checker. Gels well with Crosby. I just always forget about him for some reason.

All kidding aside, it has been Timonen for several years. Guy just flat out knows how to play defense.

Over the past couple games, Voracek has been flying under the radar. He is getting stronger every game and finally clicking with linemates.

Patrik Elias, yea I know hes been said already so because of that I'm also gonna say David Clarkson. He shows up to play every game, not a fighter but he'll do it pump up the team. I could list more, but honestly almost every Devil not named Parise, Kovy, Marty, or Hedberg seems underrated (by the NHL and some "Devils fan"s) to me
