You will LOVE watching him pitch. He does all these tricky moves and different deliveries and it's really fun to see. Kind of Luis Tiant-like.

Nope. Good framer that’s about it. Sucks at throwing runners out and can’t hold onto the ball in big moments. Guy nearly gave away nlcs for the dodgers a few yrs ago.

Oh, wow. You're "bad moment" in NLCS and flawed assessment of his stolen base prevention... versus every catching stat over years and years of time. I wonder which one is a more important sample size?

This is legitimately like having an argument over whether the sun is hot or not. Runs saved, strikes saved, frame rate, game management, rSB, etc. Name a thing. He's pretty much #1 or near it every year of his entire career. Stolen base prevention goes so much deeper than CS%. Grandal absolutely thrives at his position and is one of the best this side of the century.

What's next, folks? "Is Mike Trout a good hitter?" That's a logical topic to follow this one, to be honest.

In related news, we just have far too many important players failing to perform to expectations this season...

Moncada...What else is new? F*cking guy is the blue-est of balls when it comes to potential vs. output.

Grandal...Just take some f*cking walks like last year...It's your thing jabroni.

Abreu...This one is killing us the most in terms of W/L. He and TA were basically lock cinch to produce for us in recent years. We lost him so far this season...and it shows. Sad to hear the announcers kind of beg-plead by continually saying "oh he's due to break out of it any day now" over the past week.

Hendriks...Jesus Christ dude...

Keuchel...Most obvious one ever coming into this season...alas, we jumped right into this boiling pot. Kinda deserve what we're getting tbh.

Bummer...Another kind of obvious one based on recent history leading up to this season...but I can cut some slack to our management as relievers can be up and down. Still...Just horrendous.

Not really "failing to perform to expectations" but injuries to Lynn and Eloy (what else is new?)....Both killer.

That's just way too many impactful players giving us the zonk. Still .500 though. We can cling to that as there should be a reversion to the mean once these boys heal/figure it out. Should be...

With the exception of Timmay and to a lesser extent La Pantera, our bats absolutely suck ass this season.
