kopech is fast becoming a big disappointment. era over 5 in june and over 6 in july. with the exception of cease the pitching is more inconsistant than i can ever remember. No reason we shouldn't win with Kopech vs Marquez and finally get above .500. That being said - Kopech can't get out of the first inning without putting us in a hole. I'm worried we'll find a way to blow the opportunity.
Regardless, we should see a handful of elevation style big flies from our guys over the next couple days.

Damn, that was too close for comfort. But as I'm fond of often saying, a dub is a dub. We'll take it!Sox crest .500 - Hendriks gets a shaky save. Kopech had control problems, but his velocity was back to normal, and he gutted out a win. Moncada with the game winning double. Twins lose - Sox creep to within three.
As Ozzie used to say: "We'll take Dat One."Damn, that was too close for comfort. But as I'm fond of often saying, a dub is a dub. We'll take it!
Haven't kept track of any hard numbers, but I think it's safe to say we've lost a whole bunch of games this year in the late innings. You win and lose with your horses. Lame.
