Thank god our little quarterback "controversy" is between Kaepernick and Smith and not between Skelton and Lindley like the Cardinals have. Geez!

I don't know how "combined" works into that equasion, but Smith is far better than Kolb or Skelton.

This reminds me of us in 2010, except we were never Skelton/Lindley bad. I suppose Kolb could have been the Smith in this scenario if he hadn't injured himself out of the musical chairs. Plus, Smith had a camouflage good game prior to the San Diego game that made the ups and downs better than this "he who plays worse loses his job until the other does worse" thing the Cardinals got going. Neither Lindley nor Skelton has had a good game or was ever named starter for any other reason besides the other doing poorly.
