Which team has the young arms to do what San Francisco did? Five clubs come to mind.

Which team will be next San Francisco Giants? - ESPN

Pretty much offseason fluff, but revolves around the Giants, which I don't mind one bit.

I have to agree with having the A's as closest in likeness to the Giants pitching..there even debate around August as to who's rotation was better?

I saw that article and liked it and agreed with it by and large, but I remember thinking "maybe next years's SF Giants will be....the Giants!"

We still have the best young pitching, heck best pitching, in baseball.

Indeed. Although the A's starters are talented.

The only difference between us and the A's is that they decided to aquire very athletic, speedy, defensive players, whereas the Giants decided to go powerful and sacrafice some speed.

The A's have a shot, but they really need atleast one power bat.
