Matt Flynn just needs a legit chance. Arizona should have picked him up. Carson Palmer throws INTs like its a good thing.

He was given 8 million per year and a starting job that he could only lose to a third round rookie. If thats not a legit chance.... I don't know what is.

fwiw...flash in the pan means you're done imo.

Flynn....he got his 3 hours of fame (flash) and turned it into a huge financial windfall. Had a shot to start n SEA, beat out by RW, had a chance to start in OAK, run out by Pryor so I think it's safe to say teams will no longer look at him as a starter...so he's effectively done.

Kaep is clearly the starter in SF.

Griffin will be fine & is making decent progress. He will still need a year or two to correct some of his flaws. Meanwhile your "latest & greatest" circus offense has some issues & apparently you will need a new QB in the next season or two since none of the current ones can perform well throughout the season. Good luck with that.

flacco never flashed, he manages his abilities very moderately. Like a flambouyant Brad Johnson.

Yeah, "flash" and "flacco" do not belong in the same sentence.... You could use, "rode the coat tails of a great team to a huge contract" in the same sentence though...

And yes, thats easily as fair as calling a 5-2 currently starting QB a "flash in the pan".

The answer is Flynn anyone who says other is trolling. Flynn had two good games that flash is as quick as I have ever seen one.

To be considered a flash in the pan I think you had to have started a certain amount of games, have success, then go down hill. Flynn doesn't belong on the list.

I would say Matt Cassel

Baltimore wasn't considered a great team going into the playoffs. Just because a team wins the SB doesn't make them great. It just means they went on a hot streak. See the Giants (winners of SB 46) and their 9-7 record going into the playoffs.
