wanted to vote for brees and warner......if brees gets to one more super bowl that might get him more votes.

as for warner he is on the fence in my opinion.... great career but had some awful years

I think McNabb deserves it. He took the Eagles to the NFC Championship 4 consecutive times, making it to the Super Bowl. He also led those Eagles teams too. How many non HOF QB do that?

McNabb isn't in that class, sir. When you think of the best quarterbacks of the era, does his name actually come to mind? He was good, but his career won't touch the guys that have A) records or B) championships. Very few quarterbacks are considered "elite" without championships.

To clarify, I think it'll be Brady, Brees, Manning and Favre. Warner, McNabb and Vick will probably be left out.

The thing is, Warner may be my favorite player on there. It killed me to put Favre on, but he'll get in.

The only thing against Warner is that he wasn't "elite" all the way through. It was a great stint at the beginning and a great finish. At his prime, he's as good as any of them. This is my opinion at least.

Favre will definitely get in as will Tom Brady.


I won't be surprised if Warner never gets in...but who knows how the votes will go.

I agree that his career is ahead of Vick or McNabb's, but I still wouldn't vote Roethlisberger in. That's where stats come into play. If he won a third, then he has my vote because he would be on a very exclusive list.
