You nailed it! He and Takeo Spikes are two of my all-time favorite people in sports. It's very sad injuries caught up to Nedney.

Jeff Ulbrich is another guy that I loved listening to off the field. He wasn't always one of my favorite guys to watch play football but I really enjoyed the guy he appeared to be off the field.

Trent Dilfer. I know he got a TON of flak for his support of Nolan and the way he played when he got his chance but he would have been another great one for me. I think he's already one of ESPN's best hires all-time.

Ray Brown is one of my all-time favorite OL for the 49ers. I think he has 1 ring (not with SF), though?
