So there is no middle with you, huh? It's either we are way overrated or we are the best in the world? Seriously, you can't even try conversation?

Listen, this all started because I said I wasn't buying into the OSU hype......

I didn't say they were way overrated, I said "they are a top 10 team, but I'm not so sure on them being top 5."

Every single response you've made to me has implicated that I'm ignorant and don't follow College Football.

That is why you and I cannot have a conversation about this........because you, unlike other OSU fans, immediately go on the defense when I say I don't believe your team should be immediately considered the #2 team in the country.

I personally think we do deserve it, and I've made my case. If I came on here and said "I think Nebraska's offense isn't really that good" and took a small sample size of 2-3 games from last season as my reasoning, you'd probably call that pretty stupid logic, no?

As I said, last year's OSU team had flaws, no doubt. I've said that many times. Teams improve, though, and Meyer has shown the ability to do this in year 2 as well as anyone. If you think we're overrated, that's fine. We're all entitled to opinions. However, you aren't backing it up, nor are you even giving any reason why all of those other teams are better.

Listen here Sox - we (all of us including you) don't know shit about the 2013 teams until they play out the season, a few bad injuries can and do screw up the season. So what anyone thinks doesn't matter anyway... so let's move on :suds:

You don't know shit about your own team? I know a lot of shit about my team. I'm not predicting the future, but I know a lot about the present team, I know who they return, I know what I've seen from many of them in the multiple years they've been here, and I know a lot about the teams we play against. I'm not claiming that Ohio State is unquestionably one of the top 2 teams in the nation and will undoubtedly be in the NCG. JJM said he wasn't buying into it and didn't think they deserved the ranking, so I said I disagree and here's why.

If what anyone thinks doesn't matter, why even bother posting on a sports message board to begin with? It's still the offseason, so speculation is all you can do regarding the teams, but you can at least have reasoning when you do it. I didn't realize it'd piss so many of your Huskers off, so for that I apologize.

Honestly, I'm just going off of recent history en shit.

How many times in the past decade has the SEC had 4 or more teams in the top 10 towards the end of the season?

So I have to justify in my mind why I should think Ohio State is better than all of those teams. I can't do that based off of anything I saw last season.......and I can't do that based off of what they return from last season.

So I just plain can't do that. And you're right, that's just my opinion. Though I do fully expect Ohio State should run the table in the weak BIG Conference. There should be no excuse for them not to.

Also, let me add that I do completely understand that Urban Meyer is a magician and all that.....

I still am struggling to give him the benefit of the doubt this season though.

And how many times was the best SEC team or 2nd best SEC team a team that was coached by Urban Meyer?

South Dakota St is NOT gonna upset NU.

You don't see UCF giving Penn St a game?

Alright.....well I can see that neither of us are going to budge here so I'm not gonna argue any further.

In an attempt to smash this thing, I will say that I fully expect Ohio State to run the table in the BIG.....I just don't think they can beat team SEC.

For the sake of the BIG, I hope they do......but I don't see it realistically happening.

:nono:

We kick their ass in the B1G title game, sir! :yahoo:
