Your top 4 in order

My Picks

1. Gio - after watching the videos and hearing him talk, Im totally impressed and can see him starting out with equal carries day 1 with the law firm

2. Eifert - so strong going for the ball, I see Jimmy Graham

3. Hamilton - I hope they give him a fair shot, so big

4. Burkhead - I also hope he's given a fair shot he runs just like Beast Mode and could that 3rd back to take this team over the top

Hamilton will be held back, simply because the Bengals don't like to play rookie wide receivers.

I'll go with Eifert, he's blowing past Gresham on the depth chart, Gio will have to share snaps with Bernard Scott because the Bengals think he's awesome.

I think only two will have an impact this year. Maybe Hunt will be a third, down the road.....

With how many plays off Dunlap takes, I think Hunt could be a huge factor for this team.

Eifert will get a lot of chances.

Gio is going to be given more and more opportunities as the season wears on.

I expect Cobi Hamilton to make the 56 man easily with our WR depth, and could push for a little bit of time once in a while with Marvin Jones. Our starting WR's will be Green, Sanu, and then 3rd WR I think should be up for grabs by anyone as I think it is a crap shoot from there between Jones, Hamilton, Hawkins, Whalen, etc. I think our TE's play a much bigger role this year which sort of eliminates the need for a great 3rd WR, but it will come into play this year still.

I don't expect Hunt to contribute much in his rookie year. I think he'll get a sort of redshirt year like Still and Thompson did last year. Even with Dunlap underperforming, we still have Johnson, Geathers and Gillberry rotating in and out and James Harrison will probably be used in a variety of ways including moving to the line on obvious pass situations.

I think Eifert will be used right away. Dalton desperately needs another guy he can count on for those third down conversions that we struggle with.....I think this is where Eifert will be most productive.

With Gio, I'm guessing we'll all be frustrated -- Wondering why a guy that is averaging over 4.5 ypc is not getting more than 6 carries in a game. We'll be treated to Marvin's weekly news conference where he either says "it's my fault and I need to get him in the game" without ever doing it, or saying something like "we are on schedule" or some other stupid Marvinism.

Oh.... And the obvious pick for most impact would be the safety we got from Georgia.

If you can't earn the starting safety position on this team (opposite of Reggie), you're not very good.

It should be Gio, though he will be buried on the depth chart, because like Dan said, for some reason the Bengals think Bernard Scott is an NFL RB.

I'll go with Eifert assuming Marvin doesn't go all Rey with Gresham and continues to just throw Gresham out there.

1. Shawn Williams- He will win the SS position and will go on to have a "Vontaze Burfict" type rookie season.

2. Giovanni Bernard- Is a "Ray Rice" clone and should explode towards a ROTY Award Season as the Bengals take control of the AFC North.

3. Tyler Eifert- I'm still skeptical as the Bengals don't seem to utilize their TE's very well but he should have the opportunity to rack up catches as the Bengals attempt to get the balls in his hands with go-to plays in an effort to relieve pressure on A.J. Green.

4. Onterio McCalebb- His contribution will be made on special teams and his speed (4.21 - 40 yd dash) will make Brandon Tate expendable.

I like your take on Mccalebb, hadn't thought of that yet.

I don't think I can expect the Bengals to give Bernard free reign this year. they will use BJGE a lot, whether he deserves it or not.

If Eifert catches half the balls Greshem drops he'll be in the pro bowl.

Gio will get the DeDe Dorsey treatment.

de de wasn't really expected to be the next rudi-johnson

gio is at least expected to be somewhat serviceable, although I'm not sure what decent bengals rb I would compare him to.

I COULD SEE THIS SHIT HAPPENING ALL DAMN DAY!

And De De Dorsey didnt suck either...Dude always made plays WHEN HE PlAYED! You know why he didnt get the chances he should have??? Because Marv didnt like his ass...he treated him like Anthony Collins...De De should have never been cut....and he was too far behind and joined the team late in Detroit... Dude made plays on offense and ST's...He was young and not a VET...Its not like Marv made all the right decisions as a coach....

I think what you are saying will happen to Gio some, but he won't get the de de treatment, he was drafted too high and too much is expected of him.

I was being a little sarcastic. They expect too much from Gio, but Marv will make him sit and wait his turn with BJGE even though it will be obvious from day one that Gio deserves more playing time that he is not getting.

part of that might be keeping the rookie from getting in a bad situation and getting injured. but yea, it will be frustrating the first time he rips one for 20 yards and Marv tells him to sit down and hands two bricks to BJGE for 1 to -1 yards
