Which B1G running back will finish the season with the most rushing YPG?

If they have at least 1 carry in a game, I will count it as a game. No QBs, just RBs. Also given that these RBs don't get injured or get in trouble the rest of the season.

Le'Veon Bell (Michigan State) - 5 games, 655 yards, 131 ypg

Venric Mark (Northwestern) - 5 games, 538 yards, 108 ypg

Mark Weisman (Iowa) - 4 games, 515 yards, 129 ypg
(if you don't want include his 2 carries against NIU, it would be 3 games, 507 yards, 169 ypg)

Ameer Abdullah (Nebraska) - 5 games, 486 yards, 97 ypg
(If you don't want to include his 8 carries against Idaho State, it would be 4 games, 437 yards, 109 ypg)

Montee Ball (Wisconsin) - 5 games, 450 yards, 90 ypg
(If you don't want to include his 9 carries against UTEP, it would be 4 games, 410 yards, 103 ypg)

Donnell Kirkwood (Minnesota) - 5 games, 394 yards, 79 ypg

Damon Bullock (Iowa) - 3 games, 280 yards, 93 ypg

Rex Burkhead (Nebraska) - 3 games, 273 yards, 91 ypg
(If you take away his 3 carries against Southern Miss, he would be 2 games, 205 yards, 103 ypg)

Burkhead. He is the only guy on that list that has a QB that has proven able to move the ball through the air this year. The only other option would be one of the Iowa guys but Ill go Sexy Rexy.

I'd say probably Bell.

I'm not quite sure. He is a stud and I think he will have the most yards, but he hasn't really been all that consistant. He had 200+ yard games against Boise State and EMU, but failed to reach 100 against CMU, ND, and Ohio State.

I think the way Weisman is playing, he could be. Just depends on if he will be the primary back or if he will split carries with 100% Bullock.

I'm not really sure on the status of Burkhead and Ball, but both have shown a lot. Burkhead is down a few games, so a few great games by him and he would be in this discussion.

Toss-up between Abdullah and Weisman.

As a senior, Burkhead has earned the starts and is a worthy back, but Abdullah adds more to the offense and will get plenty of carries.

Weisman gets my nod because he's carrying the load.

I'd imagine Weisman will get the most carries...i'll go with him. Montee and Le'Veon both have good chances, as do either of the Nebraska backs if the other gets injured.
