For some reason I've actually had to do work today. Freaking sucks. But I'm here now, I was wondering where the daily was too.
Sale on pace to be the first AL pitcher since Pedro in 1999 to have 300 strikeouts in a season. Also a good shot at the first pitching triple crown since Verlander and Kershaw in 2011.
You see the article that came out about Sale and how he never shakes off the catcher? It's a mental thing for him. He doesn't have to think. He just throws the ball wherever the catcher sets up, and whatever pitch he calls. Tyler Flowers caught him for a while in Chicago, and he said he shook him off once (presumably because he wanted to bean a guy)The nerve... Actually having work!
Can Sale keep this up? I certainly think so. He can handle the pressure of Boston but Price can not. sale embraces it. Meanwhile Price seems to be shi*ting himself. Yes, record wise would not say he was but still... Sale and Price are too different animals when it comes to handling the pressure

In order to have bad blood, I think you have to actually communicate with your players. And Farrell doesn't seem to do that. What's up with Farrell and Kimbrel? Bad blood? I only caught a split second of it on WEEI the other day
