Say what you will on him, if he signs with a longshot rather than a clear front runner, it is not about a championship, it is about ego. Ego is going to Saints with a backup QB and a rapidly fading playoff picture. Packers and Rams need a WR and will be there til the end.

Rams need for a WR is depth though. McVay's playbook may not be easy to absorb quickly either. Kupp/Woods/Jefferson are probably entrenched as the top 3. Wouldn't mind adding him, but he may not be a big boost. Packers make the most sense to me (established QB and a need for a #2).

If he's focused on the spring, he should be going to a team where he can be the #1 (Detroit?). He needs a lot of positive reps to make everyone forget his recent seasons if he expects a big payday.

DeSean Jackson had 15 targets in 7 games. Unless he bumps Jefferson he will get even less targets than cleveland.
