Where does Scott Tolzien fit in the big picture?

So let me start by saying this post isn't about me advocating him as our future franchise QB because, frankly, I haven't seen enough of him to make that determination. Having said that, I did think he looked promising in his preseason game against the Niners last season and I was happy the Niners signed him after the Chargers cut him loose. I would like to see what he could become with more time to develop. I would be fine with him remaining as the 3rd string QB. At a minimum I think he could develop into a nice backup role somewhere down the road.

What do the rest of you think about him?

Guy's got great accuracy. Maybe he puts something together.

Tolz is in a competitive position on this team, so I would think he is right where he needs to be. I certainly don't mind having him as our #3.
